KW-Software and Mesco Engineering work remains central to the realization of safe control solutions for customers to certification together.

the basis of the safe control solutions is in accordance with IEC 61508: 2010 to SIL3 certified safe automation software from KW-Software ^[1] (from 1 January 2015: Phoenix Contact Software) with the products SAFEPROG, SafeOS and SafeGrid. Mesco Engineering ^[2] complements the software through special expertise and custom development services for functionally reliable hardware and software solutions.

Mesco Engineering sees itself as an independent partner for product development in the factory and process automation. Core competence is the hardware and software development for industrial communication with a focus on functional safety and explosion protection. KW-Software provides secure and non-secure software for automation.
