Bosch Software Innovations (Bosch SI) developed concepts and software for the Internet of Things. Key sectors are industry, mobility, energy and smart home. The company’s software controls digital factories and power plants, in which renewable energy electricity is generated.
Simon Hirscher (26) develops software for the industry at 4.0 Bosch SI in Immenstaad. There he wrote his Bachelor’s and Master’s thesis. He studied computer science economy out of conviction: “You have to understand the processes to reflect them in Software Technology is the tool for that..” From the business part of his studies he has his process, from the information technology their IT knowledge. “I’m interested to software development, to see what comes out in the end.” He is fascinated by how to transfer lines of robots and machines cars are built, controlled by software.
