The mixing software from Native Instruments can now also play STEMS files with four separate audio tracks.
Native Instruments has its DJ software Traktor Pro updated to version 2.9. The most important change is the support of STEMS, special MP4 audio files that also contain four individual tracks in addition to the complete song mixdown. These can be about the drums, bass, vocals and melody tracks appeal separately and mix with other songs. So DJs can create entirely new remixes live, with a digital audio workstation were previously possible only in the studio. To introduce Native Instruments has reduced the price matching controller F1, D2 and S8 until the end of September by 50 to 200 euros.
