In paragraph 7.b. it is in the service contract that Microsoft may check the version of software automatically so that updates and configurations can be downloaded for free. Microsoft is expressed here in a very bad and misleading German, whereby many interpretations are possible – for example, that Microsoft provides services that prevent you from running fake play or unauthorized hardware.
