To digitized music perfectly reproduce, excellent software solutions are necessary. The Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits (IIS) in Erlangen developed with Cingo and Symphoria intelligent algorithms that produce a natural three-dimensional surround sound. Listeners in the car or on mobile devices, the feeling of being right at the concert here

The conditions for excellent sound are often poor. Smartphones, tablets and headphones do not always have high-quality speakers. In vehicles give loudspeaker positions and the passenger compartment in front of difficult acoustic conditions. Nevertheless listeners expect excellent sound quality. The software solutions »Cingo” and “Symphoria” same weaknesses of the hardware and enter at the same time the sound produced when shooting precise again -. Regardless of which speakers or headphones, the user uses

“In a concert hall the music comes not only directly from the stage. We also hear that the sound is reflected from the ceiling and the walls. Only in this way we get a three-dimensional sound impression, “explains project manager Oliver Symphoria Hellmuth. Cingo and Symphoria analyze which elements of a direct sound recording or reflection are, and then add them to a natural three-dimensional sound together.
