With the Standard Edition free Open Workbench (Version 3.1.23) can be recorded, how long applications run on PC or documents and web pages are viewed. It also can be hours tagging and comments, so that they can be recorded accurately.

Using Timelines lists the software any activity and inactivity seconds exactly and so gives an overview of the accumulated times. About the statistics function can be criteria such as the applications most used or the length of working time at the PC show in calendar.
The recorded times can be stored locally on a backup file or in CSV format. The program can furthermore extend over several plug-ins, such as for viewing the duration of chats over Skype. The freeware version has otherwise only a limited range of functions.
However, included in the download is a 15-day trial of the paid professional version, which offers many more features, including server functionality, definable rules for tags and an extensive report function. On the manufacturer’s website, there is also a portable version available for download.
