SAP sets in the cloud and software – Heise Newsticker

An increase of 116 percent in the business applications in the cloud and an increase of 11 percent for software licenses and support let the tills ringing at SAP

SAP has grown strongly in the third quarter 2015. Based on the preliminary results. Operating profit grew yoy by 19 percent to 1.62 billion euros. Sales increased year on year by 17 percent to 4.98 billion euros.

SAP is pleased that the cloud and software revenue increased by 19 percent to 4.12 billion euros. Especially the growth in cloud subscriptions and support is, albeit still at comparatively low Gesantniveau, rassant: An increase of 116 percent brought 600 million euros in cash SAPs. This SAP was able to conclude new cloud contracts amounting to 216 million euros by its own account, an increase of 102 percent. The traditional business with software licenses and support grew by 11 percent to 3.52 billion euros.

SAP confirmed at the same time the outlook for the full year 2015. For more information about the results for the third quarter and the first nine months, the company plans to release on October 20. (jk)
